How does it work?
The caregiver
examines and photographs →The Odontoscope® enables caregivers to perform an oral health assessment at admission, following a complaint, or during periodic check-ups.
Each assessment provides an overview of the resident's oral, prosthetic, hygiene and nutritional status at a given point in time.
The app
structures and records →The Odontoscope® app guides the caregiver step by step through a structured and standardised oral health assessment based on the international OHAT (Oral Health Assessment Tool) and OHS-InterRAI frameworks.
Each assessment is recorded and remains accessible at any time, ensuring continuity of oral health monitoring.
Tele-expertise
analyses and advises →The dentist performs a tele-expertise based on the transmitted images and observations, and provides their clinical advice.
Tele-expertise enables rapid access to specialist advice, guides care without unnecessary travel, and contributes to improving the comfort and safety of dependent elderly residents.
The care team
monitors and adapts →The Odontoscope® system enables care teams to perform a standardised, documented and traceable oral health assessment, ensuring ongoing monitoring of the resident's oral health status, adaptation of nutrition to their oral capacity, and maintenance of oral hygiene care quality.
